Someone at home or at a second site opens the BrauMo running on your brewery computer through a private-network app such as NetBird. The connection is encrypted between your own devices, there is no router port to open, and BrauMo adds nothing to your bill.

Three steps
Give them a login
In BrauMo, open Settings › Users and add the person with their own password. What they record carries their name.
Connect both computers
Install NetBird on the brewery computer and on theirs, then invite them to your NetBird account. Its free plan covers a small team.
Open the address
BrauMo's Settings page shows the brewery computer's private-network address. They open it in any browser and sign in.
What it looks like
Settings › Your team shows two addresses: one for phones and tablets on the brewery WiFi, one for computers on your private network.
Why it is safe
Remote access without opening your brewery to the internet.
No open door to the internet
No router port and no public link. Besides your brewery network, only devices in your private network can reach the brewery computer, and each person still signs in. In NetBird, an access policy can limit them to BrauMo's port.
Encrypted between your devices
The private network encrypts the connection end to end with WireGuard. When no direct path exists, NetBird's relay passes the packets along, still encrypted.
A login for every person
Any device other than the brewery computer gets the sign-in page, and the audit trail shows who changed what. Set the password first: in a few container setups a remote device can look like the brewery computer.
No second copy of your records
The other computer opens the same BrauMo on your brewery computer. There is no cloud copy to keep in sync or to trust someone else with.
BrauMo makes no call to it
BrauMo does not talk to NetBird or any other service to do this. It reads its own computer's network address to show it to you.
Two things to avoid
Do not forward a port on your router, and do not publish BrauMo with a public link such as NetBird's expose or Tailscale Funnel. Both put the sign-in page on the open internet.
What you need
The brewery computer on and awake
BrauMo keeps it from going to sleep while it runs. A closed laptop lid still puts it to sleep, so a desktop or a laptop kept open works best.
A private-network app
We suggest NetBird: its free plan fits a small brewery, and it runs on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android. Tailscale works the same way on its business plan.
A browser on the other side
Any current browser on a laptop, tablet or phone that has the private-network app installed. The BrauMo iPhone app connects on the brewery network.
