Everything you get when you buy BrauMo lives in the customer portal. You open it with the email you bought with, so there is no password to keep and no need for the original email.
It opens at polar.sh, the payment provider that carries your licence and your downloads.

Lost the email?
That first email is easy to lose, and you do not need it. Open the portal, type the address you bought with, and it sends you a fresh link to get in.
If you bought under an address nobody reads any more, write to hello@braumo.com and we will move your licence to the right one.
Installing on another computer
Download from the portal, open BrauMo and enter your licence key. Three activations come with the licence, and BrauMo hands its own back when you retire a computer, so a new machine does not use up a slot you still need.
Your records do not travel with the licence. They sit on your own computer, which is the point of BrauMo, so a new machine means taking a backup in the app and restoring it there. Reinstalling on the same computer leaves your data exactly where it is.
Updates
BrauMo checks once a day and tells you when a new version is out, with the notes on what changed. It can fetch and check the update itself, and it takes a backup before it stages anything.
The download carries no database, so updating never touches your records. The portal is there for the times you would rather download it yourself.
